1- Introduction

The Manufacturing Sector is considered one of the most important sectors that directly impact the economy. Indeed, the manufacturing sector is the backbone of any thriving economy, playing a crucial role in achieving economic progress and developing industrial infrastructure. This sector, representing the primary driver of innovation and productivity improvement, serves as a bridge between creative ideas and their transformation into tangible reality. There are three main stages for raw materials to evolve into the final product:

 

1- Design and Planning

2- Production

3- Modification and Improvement

 

 

1- Design and Planning

This is the first stage of the manufacturing process.

A study of the product is conducted before its release from various economic, material, and regulatory perspectives, depending on the product’s purpose and type. Based on the type of product, either a model of the plans is created, or if it’s a mechanical product, necessary measurements and materials are determined. If it’s a chemical product, blending ratios and mixing methods for the materials are established.

An initial prototype is then created, followed by a feasibility study for large-scale production and an examination of production engineering.

 

2- Production

The machinery involved in manufacturing the product includes the factory itself, along with the workforce responsible for producing the product.

This process depends on the manufacturing method and technology, which may involve transforming raw materials into components, followed by assembling these components to obtain the final product.

Afterward, the product is packaged and wrapped for transportation and storage purposes.

3- Modification and Improvement

After the production process comes the process of modification and improvement.

This is achieved through monitoring the product’s quality with the aim of enhancing it, either to elevate its quality, add new features, address issues not noticed during production, or sometimes to comply with new regulations in the systems. Additionally, process quality control is conducted to enhance operations.
